One of our youngest teams took place in their first club tournament at the weekend. The Under 10 Girls team played Glenn, Clann Na Banna, Burren, Annaclone and Mayobridge. It was a great day out for the young players who performed very well in their games and are already looking forward to their next tournament.
When you are top of the football league what better way to celebrate than climb a mountain! The senior ladies took a night off training to do a bit of team building on top of Slieve Martin above Rostrevor. The ladies are aiming high this year!
Our senior teams have come up with a new inspirational banner as part of the pre-match preparations. Messages and key words to inspire and to galvanise team bonding are on display in the changing room before the team takes to the field.
Tickets are now available for the club’s Awards Night in Bellinis on Saturday 9th March. Food, music and presentations include senior Players of the Year, Clubperson of the Year and the Hall of Fame Award.
